My path to dentistry has led me through some incredible experiences along the way. I’ve lived in Calgary for most of my life and after finishing high school at Sir Winston Churchill, I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Master of Biomedical Technology Degree from the University of Calgary. I went on to work in the field of Biotech for a couple years, which was exciting, being at the forefront of new medical technology development. However, I realized how passionate I was about being able to provide direct patient care and eventually took the leap to go to dental school.

AUSTRALIA

But why not make it even more of an adventure? I decided to not only pursue my dream career but do it half way across the world in Australia. I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Sydney, gaining an enormous amount of life experience along the way. After four years, I fell in love with the culture, people, and lifestyle of Sydney, but nothing could replace the call of home back in Calgary. I still hold that this is one of the best places in the world to live and raise a family.

ACTIVITIES

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy giving back to my community and living an active lifestyle, playing sports, snowboarding, hiking, playing music and trying out new places to eat and hang out in town.

It is very fulfilling being able to practice dentistry in our Calgary Dental Clinic & Cochrane Dental Clinic, close to family and friends and working as part of a dynamic team at Harvest Dental, where our patient’s comfort and needs are central to everything we do.
